In 2016, Motti Gruzman bought Höllern hotel via his company TCI, mainly financed by a mortgage from Volksbank Salzburg. In February-March 2017, he raised additional funds in Israel from lenders and apartments buyers, promising apartments delivery by the end of 2017, but renovations never started. In 2022, a new attempt to sell the apartments failed. Volksbank applied to an Austrian court in 2023, seeking foreclosure to cover TCI’s debts. The hotel was sold in a forced sale on 05.09.23 to M&W Projektentwicklungs- und Realisierungsges G.m.b.H for €1,040,000.
Lenders and buyers are suing Motti Grossman and his companies.
